Date:
June 18-20, 2027
Location:
Crowsnest Pass, Alberta
Investment:
$450 CAD
A weekend for women who love the water.
Three outdoor swim sessions. Small-group coaching. Time to reconnect with your swimming, meet like-minded women, and enjoy a little space for yourself.
Set in the mountains of Crowsnest Pass, Water Women Weekend brings together swimming, movement, connection, and time to simply be.
Come as the swimmer you are. Leave with new skills, fresh perspective, and a little more room to breathe.
More than a just swim weekend.
Water Women Weekend is a small-group swim experience for women who want to develop their swimming in a supportive environment, without the pressure of a race or a rigid training schedule.
Whether you're a lifelong swimmer, masters athlete, triathlete, or returning to the water after time away, this is an opportunity to focus on your technique, build confidence, and explore what it means to swim by feel.
With just 6–8 women, there's space for individual feedback, meaningful progress, and connection with others who share your love of the water.
Between swims, enjoy a grounding sound bath, gentle yin yoga, shared meals, and plenty of unstructured time to make the weekend your own.

Come as the swimmer you are.
You don't need to be the fastest swimmer in the lane, training for a race, or working toward a particular goal.
Water Women Weekend is for women who can already swim comfortably and consistently, and want to keep learning in a supportive, small-group setting.
You might be a lifelong swimmer, a masters athlete, a triathlete, an open-water swimmer, or simply someone who feels most at home in the water.
We'll work on what matters to you — whether that's efficiency, speed, endurance, technique, or confidence — while making space to notice your breath, rhythm, and how your stroke feels.
This isn't a learn-to-swim experience. It's an opportunity to build on where you are and discover what comes next.
Itinerary
-
We’ll begin our weekend together with a grounding 60-minute sound bath at Kindred Ground in Coleman — a movement studio, coffee house and gathering space in the heart of the community.
An opportunity to arrive, exhale and transition out of the pace of the week and into the weekend.
There will also be a limited number of optional 30-minute Water Women Reiki sessions with Sarah available by advance booking.
Reiki sessions are offered at an additional investment of $55 and are not included in your weekend registration.
-
Saturday morning begins in the outdoor pool in Blairmore with a 90-minute coached swim.
With only 6–8 women, there is room for individual attention, feedback, technique development and time to explore your own swimming.
Later in the day, we’ll return to the pool for another 60-minute coached swim.
This second session gives you something that can be difficult to get from a one-time clinic: the opportunity to learn something, leave the water, let it settle, and then come back and explore it again.
Saturday evening, we’ll gather for our Water Women dinner at Onemore in Coleman.
I’ll make the reservation so all you have to do is arrive, settle in and enjoy the evening together. Each woman will purchase her own dinner.
-
Sunday morning we’ll come together for our final 90-minute coached outdoor swim.
This is an opportunity to bring together what you’ve discovered over the weekend and leave with tools, awareness and confidence you can carry into your own swimming.
After our swim, we’ll return to Kindred Ground in Coleman for a gentle yin yoga practice before we say goodbye and head home.
The Location
A little mountain-town magic
For 2027, Water Women Weekend brings us to Crowsnest Pass, Alberta — a collection of mountain communities surrounded by rivers, trails, and history. We'll swim in Blairmore, gather at Kindred Ground in Coleman for our sound bath and yin yoga, and share dinner at Onemore. Between experiences, there's space to slow down, explore the local coffee shops, wander by the river, or simply relax.
Your weekend won't be scheduled from morning until night. That's intentional. Hike, explore, read your book, take a nap, or do absolutely nothing. Come on your own or bring a friend.
There's no expectation for how you spend the time between swims. It's your weekend to enjoy, your way.
A little more confidence. A deeper connection.
Across three coached sessions, you'll have time to learn, reflect, and return to the water with a fresh perspective.
You may leave with a more efficient stroke, a better understanding of your technique, greater confidence, or practical skills to continue developing at home.
And beyond the swimming, you might take home a new friendship, a meaningful conversation, or a reminder of how good it feels to make time for something you love.
Because becoming a stronger swimmer isn't just about going faster. It's about finding more ease, awareness, and enjoyment in the water.
Your Swim Gives Forward
When you choose something for yourself, you’re also helping create an opportunity for another woman.
5% of Sarah Freeman Coaching fees go directly to Summit Forward, supporting women as they pursue meaningful swim dreams of their own.
So your weekend in the water becomes part of another woman’s journey too.
